i am probably still in denial that I am leaving in two weeks.
there is no sense of urgency.
no rushing around for stationery, for the necessities,
its just me milling around at home.
this year feels like its going to whizz by.
i want to savour every moment of it.
i want to be aware and take hold of every passing second.
this year will be my year of firsts.
i don't want to only dream,
i'm going to make things happen this year.
no longer chasing what wasn't meant to be,
not sitting around, crossing my fingers, wishing for things to happen,
no more sitting, waiting, wishing.
i'm moving on with life.
